Vedic Astrology (also known as Jyotish) is an ancient system of astrology from India, used to understand your life’s path, karmic patterns, strengths, and potential challenges. This system uses the sidereal zodiac, which aligns with the actual constellations in the sky, and considers the precession of the equinoxes (a slow shift in Earth’s orientation that Western astrology does not adjust for).

Western astrology is more psychological and emotional in focus. Vedic astrology, in my experience, is more about your life direction, your dharma (soul purpose), and your karma (life lessons and gifts brought from past incarnations). I found Vedic astrology more accurate for understanding the timing of events and deeper life themes.
